  1. Do I need to make a reservation to visit?
Yes.  Because this is a private residence, all visits must be scheduled via our online scheduling program (click here).

  2. What do I get when visiting the Sensory Petting Zoo?
You will be taken from animal to animal and enter the pastures and yards.  During the tour, you will hear stories, facts and information about each animal. Questions are encouraged!

  3. What should I wear to the barn?
    CLOSED TOED SHOES, please!

  4. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Venmo, cash and debit/credit card.

  5. Can I feed the animals?
A few of our animals are on special diets. Please do not feed any food to the animals during your visit unless the staff has provided you with food to specifically give as treats.

  6. Can I bring my dog?
For the safety and comfort of both our animals and your dog, dogs are not allowed on the grounds. Registered service animals are the only exception to this rule, and must be kept on-leash at all times.

  7. Can I bring my own food/drinks?
Animals can be very "food" driven.  For the safety of you and the animals, please do not bring any food or drink into the paddocks.  Food and drinks may be left outside of the paddocks or put back in your car.

  8. What is your refund policy?
For visitors who have paid in advance, for a full refund please provide at least 24 hour notice.  Alternative dates may also be selected in lieu of a refund.  For cancellations due to weather, a full refund will be provided or an alternative date may be selected.

  9. Can I bring a hurt, injured or rescued animal to the barn?
No, unfortunately we only have space available for the current number of animals.  If you have a hurt or injured animal, we'd be happy to help you find resources elsewhere.
